Welcome to the AARP Foundation 2026 Calendar Contest entry page. Please complete this form and upload your photo according to the official contest rules. Please pay particular attention to the photo submission guidelines at the bottom. All form fields are required. A maximum of three (3) photos will be accepted per AARP Member.

Life is filled with small yet extraordinary moments that often pass us by. This year's theme highlights the beauty found in simple, everyday experiences: a butterfly landing on a flower; sunlight streaming through trees; the laughter of friends enjoying time together.

Familiar Beauty — This category is for images that capture the beauty to be found in beloved activities, hobbies, and experiences — whether it's gardening, woodworking or a walk through your hometown.

Nature — This category showcases the everyday wonder of the natural world. Examples include plants, animals, leaves, clouds and stars.

Travel — This category celebrates moments that may not be “everyday” for us; moments that are part of the daily rhythm of places and cultures we experience when traveling. It can feature images of landscapes, landmarks, customs and daily life.

Other — This category is for captivating images of "Everyday Wonders" that don’t fit into any of the above categories.

Please note: In the event that your photo is selected as one of the winning entries, you will be required to provide a signed model release form for each individual other than yourself who appears in the photo.

Photo Guidelines

All photos must be submitted online. Submissions must be in one of the digital file types listed below; please don’t send print photos by mail. Digital photo files must also meet the photo quality and dimensions requirements listed below. Photos that don’t meet these requirements will automatically be disqualified.

Accepted File Types

Digital files (jpg, jpeg, png) that meet the specifications shown below.
Digital scans of film negatives or photographs.

No print or film submissions will be accepted for entry into this contest.

Photo Quality and Dimensions Requirements

Minimum photo dimensions: 3300 x 2550 or 2550 x 3300 pixels
Resolution: between 300 and 600 DPI (dots per inch)
